Outrageous Oreo brownies recipe

Outrageous Oreo brownies recipe

This recipe was inspired by an Oreo brownie that I had bought at Walgreen here in Phoenix. I had extremely high expectations of what the brownie should taste like and was extremely disappointed, so I decided to make them on my own. I think you will all really enjoy how incredibly rich and delicious these brownies are.

8 ounces unsalted butter

1 teaspoons baking powder2. Melt the butter, 8 ounces semisweet chocolate chips and the unsweetened chocolate in a medium microwavesafe bowl at power for 1 minute 30 seconds and continue at power until completely melted. Allow to cool slightly.

3. Stir do not beat eggs, vanilla, and sugar together in a large mixing bowl. Stir the warm chocolate mixture into the egg mixture and cool to room temperature.

4. Stir cup of the flour, the baking powder, and salt together in another bowl and then add to the cooled chocolate mixture.

5. Toss the Oreo chunks and the 4 ounces of chocolate chips in a medium bowl with remaining 2 Tablespoons of flour, and then add them to the chocolate batter. Pour into pan.

6. Bake for 20 minutes, and then rap the baking pan against the oven shelf to force the air to escape from between the pan and the brownie dough. Bake for about 10 minutes more, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.

7. Allow to cool completely. At this point you can ice the brownies with the icing or just leave them the way they are. You can also serve the brownies with vanilla ice cream as well!
